Printing and paper size.
(1/1)

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm having a tough time getting the right size prints for the universal game cases. I tried using the Undercover XP, which has a guide on here, it's a great post. The paper i'm using is the standard 8 1/2*11. Following some guides on here i changed my printer settings from Letter to Legal and Portrait to Landscape and the image is either too big or too small. Legal paper is 8 1/2*14 will i need that size or will the standard do? I also have photoshop and as i have said i also have undercover XP trying to use that. So can someone please tell me what size paper i need and the settings of my printer as well as either to use it with photoshop or undercover XP. Help is greatly appreciated. :D

Welcome to TCP!  :)

When I print UGC labels, I just use Windows Photo Viewer (not sure what version of Windows you're running - I use Win7 64).  Open the photo in Photo Viewer, select 'Print', when the dialog box comes up I un-tick 'Fit picture to frame' and hit print and it comes out just perfect.  I'm using an Epson Photo R200 colour printer with standard 8.5x11 paper (glossy photo paper but that's irrelevant to this issue).

I have XP, what are your printer settings. Is it letter size or something else. I have a Lexmark printer.

For DS covers letter is Ok.
For UGC covers Legal is almost must. Unless you can print truly borderless, and even then the print won't be complete. You can also use A4 size paper.

And of course you need to print in Landsscape...  ;D
