32-X PAL Template

I was playing around with idea of PAL 32-X template, with help of no-class nick, that looks like the MD counter parts.

Here are two quick mock-ups, they are poor but should give the general idea.

First is black with gold grid that would be paired with the black with silver grid Euro with old style MD logo.


Second is the Violet one with dots that would be paired with the blue with dots template with the newer Mega Drive text.

Hmmm the purple version of mega drive later games could look nice if done properly, but then again i like megadrive grid over blue dot, so a grid system 32x would just seem more uniform, and we all know i do love my uniformness

As we discussed in PM, i still prefer purple grid, heres a lil mock up of the spine i did with the purple grid and a 32x logo i cleaned up a lil, so space between the sega and the 32x logo will be for game name

Would it be impossible to whip up gold grip template at the same time, and you would do both covers always at the same time?
Shouldn't be too labor intensive, right?

And can you use the beautyfull Mega Drive logo instead of the white text.

The "Mega Drive 32X" logo i use is from a pal 32x cover, so its a retail logo, the other one just doesnt look right

Yeah I know.
But the old MD logo just looks so much better.

I'm not a fan of the gird layouts on anything, so my vote goes to the violet dot design

The spine looks nice next concentrate on the front.
The style used in the Altered Beast looks nice (remnants of it can be seen in the mock-up I did.)
