Even though I can't seem to get perfect scans using my scanner, I still thought I would share my raw SNES scans with everyone. Some people might be able to work some magic on them, even if there is a heavy moire effect.

Forwarding this for someone. Here's a full scan of George Foreman's K.O. Boxing for SNES. Unfortunately it was not descreened (no descreen option on his scanner) but it's the best scan I've seen of the game. Hopefully someone can make a box out of it.

Widget looks great, its a shame the sides are cut off, but a cover should still be posable with some work, Is Arcana sun faded? Because part of the scan does not look as good as Widget.

I will do some more scans of a few PAL SNES boxes i have.

Not every box is as good but it only takes a few minutes to scan.

Chester Cheetah: Too Cool to Fool



I experimented with my scans for this box in an effort to see what settings have the best outcome. All scans are in 600 dpi.

No filters
Color restoration and dust/scratch removal
Descreened
Descreened with dust/scratch removal
Descreened with color restoration
Descreened with color restoration and dust/scratch removal

All versions

It looks like descreened with no other filters has the best results. But I'm not the one working with the images, so I'm welcome to feedback from cover artists about their preference
