wiggy:
Or just hold it down with your hand. That's what I do when I have a hard time getting a box to lay flat. Just don't sneeze :P

It seems my scanner is in storage. Should be able to scan both Carmen Sandiego boxes Sunday at work. Well, all four actually. Two regular size game boxes, plus the bigger outer boxes that held the almanacs or whatever.

just wondering if you intend to scan the boxes or not. sudo apt-get install where in time is carmen san diego
lol
also, anyone have the snes jetsons box to scan?
thanks.

The back scan is not too bad but the front has some blurring so I would put more weight down when scanning. I would also recommend scanning in 600dpi. Bigger is better! ;)
If you wouldnt mind re-scanning, that would be awesome. If this doesnt get put together by someone right away, Ill put it together whenever I can. If you got anyhting els you can contribute, please do!
Thanks.

Yep put the box between harcover book and sit on it for few minutes to super flatten the box.
Then put the box on the scanner, put hard cover book on it (book has to be biggere than the box but small enogh so it doesn't rest on the edges of the scanner).
Then add some extra weight on the book.
I only need the front in 300 DPI for the US Vertical.

Could give the front in 300DPI too?
My computer tends to dislike 600s.
