How come these covers don't get uploaded to the site? As a new member it's frustrating to come to a great site with so many covers but have trouble finding them.
I'm working on a project to help this case.

I imagine in the case of those Mario Party covers, it's 1. They look pretty nice to me.
Nearly 100% sure that's the reason.
Is there any way we can upload covers on behalf of other users? We went for nearly a year with no upload solution, so there's a LOT of stuff floating around the forums that was never uploaded to the site, some of which were made by members who aren't active anymore.
Either ZIP the covers into one large file, and upload it to Medifire or Box.net and post the link to the boards, or upload the covers normally and add the cover makers name to the info box (and I thinbk that the name can be changed afterwards if it accidentally gets posted with you as the creator).
If cover makers name is not known it can be posted as Anynomous.
