Drawing by me:

It was 45 years ago today, that The Beatles sang about how 20 years before then (65 years ago today) That Sgt. Pepper taught a band to play. The album "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club band" Is one of my favorite albums from the Beatles, along with "The White Album" "Abbey Road" and "Rubber Sole." Even though the Beatles are my favorite band, Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side Of The Moon" Is my all time favorite album.

I love how the hole thing is a event, all the songs transition into each other and the whole album has a uplifting feel tat can bring me out of any bad mood.
Other band i like are Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, the Bonzo Dog Band, The Who, The Rolling Stones, AC/ DC, Metallica, Eric Clapton, Santana, Elton John, The Band, Blue Oyster Cult, Franz Ferdinand, Avenged Sevenfold, Queen, Utopia, and Jethro Tull.

I can always go back to Between the Buried and Me's "Colors." I still don't know most of the lyrical content, but musically it's bliss. Avenged Sevenfold has been pretty solid the past 3 albums, especially on drums.

My favorite artist in general is Trent Renzor, founder of Nine Inch Nails (and the only writer aside from Atticus Ross occasionally). The Downward Spiral, With Teeth, and The Fragile are all great albums. I also just bought the pair's The Social Network soundtrack. It feels similar in spirit to NIN's "Ghosts" album and I love it.

Lately I've been listening to a lot more electronic music. Various artists in the chiptune scene, Daft Punk, and Deadmau5. Also just bought Amanda Palmer's latest album cause who doesn't love her?

Larryinc64, since you say you like The Beatles, have you ever seen the documentary "Paul McCartney Really Is Dead"? It's really eye-opening and blew my mind all over the wall when I first saw it. If you have Netflix, it's probably still on there. You should REALLY give it a watch.
Mick Dundee:
Right this moment I have been listening to Techno/Electronice/Trance/House.
A Band and CD I like a lot...Celldweller. (self titled) All done by one guy that goes by the name of Klayton.

His music has been used in a CRAPLOAD of movies, games, and commercials. I believe Abby in NCIS was listening to one of his songs in an episode as well.

Crackdown 1 has a couple songs in it.

He has been slowly working on a 2nd album (Wish Upon a Blackstar), releasing it in parts. 2 songs per part, 5 parts total. So far 1-3 are released with the 4th being later this month.

Other music I like (in order of what comes to head first)
Tool, A Perfect Circle, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, NIN, Marilyn Manson, Pendulum, Daft punk, Prodigy, Crystal Method, Fatboy Slim, Moby, Slipknot, Korn, Mindless Self Indulgence, Zeppelin, Rush, Ozzy, Onerepublic, Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Eve 6, Blink 182.......I think I have rambled enough.

Great band, great album. I have 3 of their albums. The Silent Circus is probably my favorite.

But my two favorite bands would have to be Born of Osiris (their new album "The Discovery" is just amasing) and I the Breather, a new band that just released their first album ("These Are My Sins") in December and I havent been able to stop listening to it ever since. Sick band, I suggest you check them out!
