Damn, a SNES power thingy is ~10 euros though. :/
The price is not the issue here. Rather availability. People rarely sell it alone here, and I don't want to buy a new SNES just for the AC adapter.

Thanks for your emails!

Any one knows how print the labels best so that they look like a real SNES label or better?

Like better use inkjet or laser or photo paper or whatever? I suspect there is no ready to use where you just slip the label off, my scisors skills suck ^^

Haven't done these, but:

Laser printer so the colors stay without laminating.
As for the paper I'd use normal thickness paper with bit of shine. Fotopaper, even the semiglossy is too thick and shine for my taste.
Attach with thin layer of spray glue to the label's back.
And for cutting exacto knife and metal ruler.

No it didn't work.

and my soldering looks real tight.   I think my problem is when I striped the wire maybe I damaged them.  I need to get a line tester so that I can test each wire before installing it.

Also maybe usb wire doesn't work.  I have heard of people using phone line.  Radio Shack sells car stereo wire, would that work?

Phone wire would be cheaper as I have a bunch of that lying around.

Just get some real wire, like AWG30 or something bigger. I guess 5 meters is like 5 bucks tops, that has to be in the budget ;)

There also is wire with lead already on it, you may want to try that too!
