Screw the Game Gear! I dont see any Genesis Sonic games! :D

Leave him be. I don't have any NES Mega Man games (yet). He's probably one of those types that wants to encounter them in a special old-school game store instead of just buying it online. I know I'm that way most of the time (hence my lack of MM7).

@Staf: That's a pretty sweet collection. I have a buddy of mine who's collection is comparable to this one, but he has more toys and fewer comics. He admittedly wasn't much of a comic fan. He also has a guitar pick from either the lead guitarist or singer from Crush 40 (I forget who it was) and signed CD. Plus he bought the Ryo Hazuki Fork Lift from Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing, which maybe shouldn't count, but the game is Sonic and Sega, not just Sega, so he includes it in his Sonic collection.

I've never owned a Game Gear, though I have all the games playable through Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut for the GCN. I used to own a Genesis along with all the Sonic games, but when Sonic Mega Collection for the GCN came out, stupid younger me sold the system and all my games for $80 to a neighbor for his grandkids to play when they came over. I figured since I now owned all the Genesis Sonic games on one disc, I didn't need to originals to play them. I've regretted that decision ever since then. I want to buy a Genesis and start building my collection back up, but money is an issue. Silly poor college student.

Money is also the reason I don't have any more toys, though those prices have jumped up. It was $5 for a single figure at first, but now it is about $8 for the singles and more for the doubles. My comic subscriptions to both Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Universe have lapsed as of March so I don't have the recent issues. I can't wait for the poor days to be over with.

I would totally count the Ryo Fork Lift as part of the Sonic Collection. The guitar pick and signed CD is pretty sweet. My Crush 40 CD isn't signed. :P

oooooooah, I see a MegaMan Soccer in there ... maybe one day you could scan the label and box for me  ;D

nice collection. Have a great day/night ...

I don't have access to a scanner anymore, but if I do get an opportunity, I'll scan them both for you. It's just too bad it didn't come with a manual.

okay. Thank You for responding. If you are ever able to scan the box and label then please let me know.

did you know that someone has uploaded raw scans of the manual?

Well aside from the obvious DVDs/Blurays, CDs, Comics and Manga of which I have a fair amount....

I collect Statues.
A pricey hobby if ever there was one.
I have an excel spreadsheet of the ones I'd LIKE to buy someday and it has passed 300 items. I priced it out for kicks and it's close to $100K....
"Could this be... an omen?!"

My blu-rays are starting to seem like a "collection", 166 and counting.

I tend to pick them up cheap (new and used), my most expensive single blu-ray (not set), was Caligula at $30...and well worth it...one of my favorite movies. The rest have been under $20 or even $10.
My LPs Channel. Currently playing Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Resident Evil 2.

I just realized I suppose you could call my Legos some sort of collection....35 Gallon container full and whenever I find more at yard sales cheap I buy them, clean them, and sort them out....MEGA BLOCKS ARE GARBAGE!! My wife yells at me for buying a 5 gallon container full of Legos for 10 bucks....but not games for 10-30....strange.

How do you clean your legos?

Two methods:

Light cleaning: let the legos soak in soapwater few hours, rinse.
Heavier cleaning: Put the legos in small eyed washing net (or use heavy duty pantyhoses), and put then thru handwash program of washing machine.

Apart from video games...

Video game hardware!

I'm close to finishing the sega line up.  Just need a Game Gear, Master System, and Nomad (all of which just went through my fav local shop at a ridiculously good price but I didn't have the cash to get them at the time  :'(  And I would love to get a NeoGeo AES and CD!

Comics - Finishing up the trade paperbacks of Transmetropolitan and Walking Dead soon.  Then starting on Hellblazer.

Video game preorder plushes - Currently have a Slime from Dragon Quest VI DS release, Jack Frost from the Devil Summoner 2 release, and the Big Dadday from the Bioshock 2 release (small but will probably grow)

Video game soundtracks - I'm a sucker for these and will probably preorder collector's editions to get them (I blame Atlus for this  :P )

Occult books - Everything from Crowley to Henry/Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa to Peter J. Carroll to the Egyptian Book of the Dead  Its all fascinating to me

Board and Card games

Shadowrun novels

H.P. Lovecraft/Cthulhu Mythos stuff - I am a huge Lovecraft/Mythos geek as well!

I usually clean the legos with dish soap and warm water. Soak them for a while and rinse off thoroughly. Though the Duplo I got for my son I added a bit of bleach to be safe.
