I actually started replaying this the other day.  I'm probably a little less than half-way through.  Going around doing tons of side-questy stuff.

This is good game, altough sailing is bit boring.

Stopped playing just just before last bosses, and haven't had time to continue yet. Same goes to Twilight Princess  ;D

About the side quests, be carefull as you might miss at least one statue permanently.

Well you can play it on Wii, or on GameCube, in widescreen. Wii gaphics are not that much better.
You can stretch 4:3 (old TV) image in to 16:9 (Widescreen) on any widescreen TV, it won't degrade in this case noticeably.
On the other hand HD upgrade on "Nintendo Cafe" would be nice.

It doesn't stretch if you play with component cables and progressive scan. :D

So GameCube can put out widesceen natively?

If yes, then you don't have to strectch image on your TV
If no, then you do have to strectch image on your TV

Sorta.

Sadly, Wind Waker does not support widescreen (I thought it did, but no, it just looks awesome, even if it is stretched)...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_GameCube_games_with_480p_and_16:9_support

However, there are a handful of GCN titles that do support native Widescreen display.

I couldn't resist. Just bought Master's Quest off my friend for $20. I think I'm done buying stuff for a little bit. ;)

You guys have made me want to restart Master Quest, which I've never actually finished. Green Spiritual Stone acquired.

Oh, the Great Deku Tree was relatively normal, from then on dungeons get ... "intresting"
