games-go-round:

There's some good stuff showing up on here, for sure!

I *finally* managed to win an auction for Panzer Dragoon Saga, which was included in a set with Guardian Heroes.  Honestly, I doubt I'll keep GH, despite its rarity - I've played both games years ago, and while I have fond memories of Saga, I don't remember enjoying Heroes very much.  Saga, though, I'm looking forward to playing again!  Both games were discs-only, so I'll end up with five discs in all.  Time to make some custom cases!

For what it's worth, a local game store here in town has had a copy of Shantae for a few months now.  They want $159.99 for it, which is too much for me!  If I get the itch, I might pick it up to see what all the fuss is about, but try as I might, I'm just not a game collector.  I enjoy the small collection that I have, and play them all on a regular basis.  Buying games just to stick them on the shelf isn't for me... but that doesn't mean that I'm not impressed when I see the collections some of the rest of you have put together!

This thread is awesome, and I'm so glad it's kept going like this.  Pissing contests can be fun every now and then, right?

Mick Dundee:

You can probably get 30-50 bucks for your Guardian heroes to put some cash back in your pocket from the auction.
(it is a good game. Sadly I kept my copy for music and now is riddled with pin holes and cant be played without freezing)
