NES Manual Size

Annabelle:

Hey guys! I have a couple of questions about NTSC USA NES Manual Sizes.

As far as I can see, there are two sizes available for those games.
The small size (Like what comes with The Legend of Zelda)
and a Large Size (Like what comes with Final Fantasy I or Dragon Warrior IV).

Anyway, I was wondering if any USA NES Game Maker made any different sized manuals,
and I was also wondering if the FF1 and DW4 manuals are the exact same Width and Height as a standard USA SNES or USA n64 Manual.

Heck, for that matter, are USA SNES and USA n64 Manuals the same Width and Height as each other?  ???

I'm not too concerned about Depth (thickness) as that varies due to the number of pages.  :P

Hmm, and for the final question; how many USA NES Games had small manuals, and how many had the Large ones?

I'm not sure of the total number, but I know that the following games had large manuals:

Golf Grand Slam - Atlus
Dragon Warrior (the special explorers' handbook that came with the Nintendo promotion) - Enix
Dragon Warrior IV - Enix
Final Fantasy - Square
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure - LJN

I'm sure the list is longer, but these are the games I know for sure came with the larger manuals.

Big ones that come to my mind now:

Draqon Warrior 1-4 (1 and 2 had small ones as well)
Swords and Serpents (least Europe even the single language ones were)
Final Fantasy

Many european multi language ones were big ones.

Then there was third manual size of FFF Athletic World and FFF  Stadium Events.

Cool, thanks.
I think that Crystalis has a large manual too, going by a picture I saw on the eBay.
I just ordered it on the eBay, and should have it in a few days.

Thanks for the intel.
I've found some pictures of those two FFF Game Manuals, but can't tell how they differ from the Zelda Manual or DW4 Manual.
Is it a Height or Width thing?
If it's not too much trouble, could ya take some measurements of the FFF Manual's Height and Width for me, in millimeters, please?

Arseen:

Size of those is close to small NES manual, add 2-3mm to shorter side and 12-15mm to longer side. They open like the big manuals
