Hey guys. Thought this idea was really cool! ;D
I made a bunch of covers using Quazimoto's nice templates (hope that was okay, hah)
Here's a link to about 300 different Gameboy, Gameboy Colour and Gameboy Advance games! I wanted to have them all in the same folder on my pc, so I gathered up a bunch I found from Misanthroat, KS4, Quazimoto and g0sub (you guys rock). I edited most of them, so they all match according to Quazimoto's templates. Let me know if you don't like me posting them here, I'm brand new at this forum and not 100% certain of the rules. :-\
I also converted the templates from .pnd to .png, so it will be available for Mac users or just those who doesn't want to download paint.net.
If you'd like to have a game cover, please let me know and I'll get right on it.

Now I just have to find a printer with semi-glossy paper... ::)

Oh, except for that Spongebob game! Couldn't find it anywhere! If you have a scan of it, I can make it. But, man, didn't find any 2 in 1 Spongebob game with that combination of games. :o

On behalf of myself, I say... More power to ya my friend. Unfortunately, I had to sell my GameBoy collections, but I really love the cassette cases for storing and displaying them, so it's good to see other folks using them as well.
I can't really take credit for the templates as I actually got the initial one from another forum member (I forget who at the moment), but simplified it a bit and separated it into three different templates (GB, GBC, GBA) because I found it easier to work with them like that.
And FYI - as with any cover you print, paper choice is probably way more important than the printer. I only use a cheap, off the shelf, all in one Kodak printer with good quality photo paper (mostly) and a few tweaks to the printer settings. That tends to give really good prints. However, since I had so many to print when I did and was on a bit of a budget, I used standard cardstock paper for the GameBoy covers I printed out. That did give a bit of a grainy appearance (which I personally kinda liked - seemed sort of old schoolish), but worked well for the most part and was really cheap. But, if you can afford it, I would suggest some good quality matte photo paper. You can fit two covers to a standard sized sheet, so there should be plenty of options available. I honestly don't think you'd need any type of glossy or semi-gloss paper. Once you get the cover in the cassette case, the clear front will add a little bit of a gloss look anyway. But, that's just my preferences. If you like things a bit shinier, semi-gloss paper would do the trick nicely.

I picked up a stack of gameboy games, so it looks like i am going to need to get busy making more of these.
