That's very creative. I love the idea, but the fact that manuals won't fit is discouraging. Great for someone who just started collecting and won't be able to obtain manuals though. Plus, we could use smaller pics, so we could still have high res with pictures we could never have used before.

what's the pixel size for a cassette tape cover like that anyway?

I'd questimate:

Front: 4" by 2.5" = @ 300DPI = 1200 pixels by 750 pixels
Spine: 4" by 0.5" = @ 300DPI = 1200 pixels by 150 pixels
Inner fold: 4" by 1" = @ 300DPI = 1200 pixels by 300 pixels

Will specify when can measure.

EDIT:
Found some templates for that:

I use Semi-gloss photo paper from HP. Result is about the same as original NES boxes.

I'll try this out. Do u have an inkjet or a laser?

It's mainly a fact of country to be honest, even if you have every manual of every game and you live in Italy you can't buy anywhere DS cases with gba slot..so you're forced to find out another solution :\ This until Nintendo Europe Store reopens.. >:(

Also, thanks arseen for templates <3

This is awesome... I have so many loose GB carts and to buy and hack DS cases for all of them would be a lot of time and money. Great solution. I'm also not above wrapping the manuals around the cart to include them.  :)

Well i just bought 50 cases in nearly perfect conditions on eBay for only 11 EUR (15 Dollars around)..I had a lot of those cases in my house but they were cracked/damaged and too dirty-opaque.

These ones look new  :o

Cool!  8)

Just checked the quality of the covers and they are indeed usable quality.

Too bad I like to store my manuals in same case so these are not for me.

On th e other hand this would help me with my storage space issue, I could store the manuals in binders... so maybe...

Well the only manuals i have, are from games I bought when i was kid in 90's. Same goes for clear cassette cases. I really took care of them  8)

The other 20-25 games i have are without plastic case and manual. Bought them on Internet, eBay and other sites..I really dont know whats the problem with these people...

"OK" for trashing the paper box, but throwing away plastic case and manual is totally idiot.

This is an amazing idea!  I have quite a large collection of GB/GBC games that I would love to put in cases like this.  Wonder what it would take to get the approval to add this in with the rest of the covers in the handheld section  ??? (like the vertical case custom formats for SNES and N64).  Thanks for sharing!

Altough these are great idea, it's highly doubtfull that they wiil be added as demand for these would be low, but stranger thigs have happened.

Oh well... Guess I can dream.  I am just a fan of them from a stand point of them looking nice, easy to index, and don't take up as much room as the DS cases do.  Though I suppose I can just try to make them myself from the templates so graciously pointed towards and existing covers in the handheld section!
