Hi, i just got an snes. I gave my console away many years ago, although i still had most of the games. anyways, the console
i got is yellowish (as you must expect) and i was wondering if it was better to make the chemical procedure to take it out
or just color it with some nice paint.
i've seen some posts of TCPers mod other stuff (like "goldening" legend of zelda a link to the past). So, what do you think is the
best choice? color it or uncolor it? if you had tried to color it, what kind of paint did you use? how did you do the "tape masking" on the
"power" or "reset" texts?

go to ebay.com, buy one that is in decent shape.

Tried it. It works. Good if you know someone with one of those UV plant lamps.
But if you're goin to paint it, Krylon Fusion for plasics. Get a color coat and a gloss coat. No primer needed but do clean the surface. And if you have one available scratch up the exterior with a scuff/scratch pad.

this one is in really nice shape, except for the color, and even if i get a good looking one, it will get yellow by the time.

and how did it look? did it get the original grey color or did it just "whitened"? also, isn't the sunlight enough if you want UV light?
