Train people now = better covers in the future with more contributors

I only skimmed thru the topic located what I tought was the instructions (yes without reading  ;D ) clicked modify and copied all, then created the topic and yes pasted (again without bothering to read).

Reason on my next topic.  ;)

i voted for covers only cause we have alot of tutorials that no one bothers to read anyway  even after they are linked to them in threads

You never know what happens

Honestly, I'd love to learn how to do the awesome job that has been done with the covers in this site (like the Street Fighter 2 Turbo cover created by Mayor McCheese, or the most recently The Adventures of Bayou Billy you restored, for example), so I voted for the tutorial.
Some time ago, I tried to make the covers by myself using Photoshop. I searched for restoring photos tutorials on the Internet and it didn't work. Maybe because they didn't explained all the steps and why they adjusted some patterns to a particular value and not a different one, or maybe because I'm not very good at this :P, I don't know. That's why I started using Corel Draw, but the things I have done with it are very far from the works done in this site.
I'm not sure if this would be a good idea of how to make a tutorial, but I think an important part of it should be a complete example of how to restore a raw scan step by step trying to explain why you make each step the way you do it and not another.
I know that making a tutorial is a really hard work and time consuming and that it isn't good for the site (in the way that you won't be creating covers for a while), so regardless the final result of the poll, I think that the last word is yours and you should decide whether to do it or not.
Thanks for your initiative and to all the people responsible of the work done for the site.
Best regards! ;)
