So, I recently ditched about 100 games because I Decided I wanted a more RPG based collection.

(Basically I asked myself if I would actually play the games in question....answer was no)

Sadly now, the games I am interested in but don't own are getting harder and harder to find and at a decent price for that matter.

My question  is this: are these games the kind I'm looking for?

 The ones I want are
Turn Based RPG (Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior/Quest)
and         Action RPG  (Ys, Fable, Fullmetal Alchemist)
and of course anything in between (Tales Games, Star Oceans)

I cant figure out weather all of the ones on my list are these.

I DO NOT WANT BLOCK MOVEMENT! (FF Tactics, Ogre Tactics, Fire Emblem)
*Thank You Peach for pointing out that I should give examples on the type I dislike*

I'm assuming that by block movement, you mean turn-based strategy RPGs? If so, it looks like you're good. At least from what I can tell. Most of the titles I know, but some I do not.

Persona 3 and 4 are pretty awesome turn based dungeon crawlers on the PS2. There's also a remake of Persona 1 and I think an improved version of Persona 3 on the PSP as well. I never did finish those games....

Just Picked up Mario Rpg the other day along with Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.

I own Paper Mario for the 64 and the Thousand Year Door for Gamecube.

Just waiting on a good deal for the Wii Paper Mario.  :)

I have Not finished Crisis Core. I find that lately I collect more than play.

I have Lunar Silver Star and Eternal Blue for PS1, the PSP lunar and a Gameboy Advance Lunar. :)

The number of RPG's I've yet to finish is criminal. FF7, 9, 12, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, KH: BBS, Pokemon Black, Persona 3, 4, etc... RPG's used to be my favorite genre until I found little time to play them ;)

Story of my life.  :(

lol I looked at the list and it brought back so many memories. 75+hrs on  Xenogears just to beat the game flying by, Every ending in Suikoden 2 even with the gamesave from pt1, Grandia's great story, And every chrono trigger ending on every platform it came out on  ::). I even remember playing Front Missions 3 for 3 days straight (meal and bath breaks only).  Final fantasy 7 i remember goin back trying to find a way to keep Aeris alive lol.

Good times.

I doubt I will ever find Suikoden or Xenogears for a decent price, I am holding hope for Grandia.  I sadly did own Grandia at one point... and traded it for Dynasty Warriors 2 a LONG time ago. (why are we so freakin stupid when we are young?)

This may sound silly, but what I do, since I still love having physical copies (and love saving some money), is that I buy the imported version, but then I buy the game again on PSN and play that. That way I do own a physical copy of the game (in Japanese), but I have an English alternative to play.

You can allways look for a reproduction cart, usually SNES RPGs are expensive in the US and they are censored, maybe you can find someone who can make you a repro cart using a translated rom.

I do have guardians crusade. If I recall correctly I had all the living toys. The walk bomb was most usefull. One of the few games I have beaten.
