New vertical cover: Game & Watch - Ball
Just one thing, the screenshots are from a video of the game in the Nintendo website. If you take a look at the original box cover, you'll see that the screen of the front of my cover is not the same. I wish someday I could make the same shot as in the original so I'd say that this is like a beta version of the final cover I'd like to make.
As always, feel free to say your comments or ideas.
Regards ;)

My only suggestion would be to change the font used for "BALL" on the spine and the top of the front to the same font that was used for Oil Panic and Donkey Kong. Uniformity is pretty important on this site, so keeping the fonts used for the titles of the games the same for all covers would be a definite good idea.
EDIT: I also did a little bit of tinkering to try and fill up the empty space on the cover, and I slapped this together.
This is, by no means, a high-quality edit, or a final project. But, I basically think that single-screened G&W games, like Ball, are better suited for Horizontal covers, in a style like this. Of course, the font still needs to be changed back to the font that was used for Oil Panic and Donkey Kong, but this is just a rough sketch to give you an idea of what I was looking for. I think using a horizontal template for single-screen games, and a vertical template for dual-screen games would be really great. As long as all the spines for both templates are exactly the same, you shouldn't be able to tell the difference when they are lined up on a shelf.

Well, I used a font similar to the original font of the game, because not all the G&W games have the same font for their names. I tried to do something similar to, for example, what Nintendo does to their Wii titles in the USA (because, al least in Spain, all the Wii titles have the same font for the spine names), just to make the covers similar to the original boxes design.

I knew this ;D This is why I made a horizontal template for the Multi Screen series. But I think that I could make the two versions (vertical/horizontal) of the cover and the people choose which cover do they prefer, because maybe someone could like to have all their covers with the same orientation, don't you think so? (although the vertical orientation would suppose a problem for the horizontal Multi Screen games if someday are made ???)
Thanks :)
EDIT: G&W: Ball - Horizontal cover done
EDIT 2: Modified the vertical cover. Now there is less empty space.
Regards.
