Hey, Anubis. Could you upload preview images of your latest works so that people can view the covers you've made without downloading them? I've been on a public computer lately, and it can't open .tif files, and I can't install programs on it.

Thanks!

Of course, sorry about that.
From now on I'll upload the covers to Mediafire and post an image of the cover too. I'll also update my old posts with images of the covers.

Wish fulfilled :P Just one question: The way I posted the images, is it OK or should I post them so the people can see them directly in the Forum in a bigger size?

Nah, what you did is just fine. ;)

This is definitely my favorite style right here. The only suggestion I would make, would be to move that product number to the bottom. (DK-52, OP-51, etc.) I think it would look much better if the top bar just said the title of the game, like "Donkey Kong". (Keeping the G&W logo where it is, of course.) I think that the product number would look the best in the bottom-left corner on the front of the cover, right under the picture of the machine, since there's nothing else down there, and you have the Nintendo logo in the bottom-right.

Also, this is just a suggestion, because I'm not entirely sure how it would look, but look at that oval for the title on the spine... I think that, instead of having the oval be just long enough to fit the title, it might look better and more uniform if the ovals were all the same length. (For example, put the title "Oil Panic" centered in an oval that is the same size as the oval that contains "Donkey Kong".)

Try that out, and see how it looks. I think it'll look really great. ;)

Modifications added and links updated.

I think I'm not gonna continue with the other covers until the design to follow is finished because the probabilities of making a mistake increase  ;D

Aw yeah man! These look perfect now! The changes look awesome! ;D

I would definitely say to continue on with the next few covers from here on out. I definitely can't imagine this template getting any better. :P

Agreed.
Don't worry about mistakes going unnoticed, as if you somehow manage to screw up, we'll point the mistakes out and ridicule you to the world's end. And that's a promise.  ;D
But if you other hand if it's the ridicule you're afraid...  ;)

The final versions are really nice looking Anubis.

In the case of G&W covers I think we should go the vertical way as a standard as we did for NES covers as well.

For SNES on the other hand horizontal should and for me willl always be the standard because it just resembles the original boxes better.
2 + 3 = 23

@ All:
Many thanks for all your comments and your help. It's great to be part of this project.

@ Arseen:
LOL. No, I'm not worried about mistakes or ridicule. I said that I'd wait until we have one template model finished because when I was adding the changes to all the covers there was a moment in which I didn't know what modifications I was making to which cover ;D (Don't know if what I said is understandable :P). Of course, I wasn't complaining about your changes with that comment, because you all have been really helpful. It's only that I want to do my best. Don't misunderstood me, please, as English isn't my mother tongue.

@ Sneak:
I'll see what I can do because the main problem is obtaining the screenshots of the games, but when I finish the Ball cover, I'll start with Donkey Kong II ;)

@ tiktektak:
Yes, that was my idea as the first design of the covers was a vertical template. I decided to make a horizontal template just to try to fill the empty space (specially, for the Silver and Gold Series). I admit that the vertical covers look much better than the horizontal, but I think your are not going to like the G&W: Ball cover as much as the Multi Screen ones because of the empty space :( But we'll see what can we do to solve the problem.

Regards and thanks again for everything! :)

I was just joking, I'm so easy going that offending me is pretty much impossible and because of that I also sometimes say what I mean unfiltered without worrying about offending  ;D.

@ FerretGamer:
Thanks for your commets. I'm glad you like it. I have (just) Zelda too, and I'm thinking that it is one of the covers I won't be able to finish (for now) because I haven't found an emulator/simulator to obtain good screenshots of the game :(.

@ Arseen:
I know you were joking and I'm not gonna offend, so don't worry about it and joke all you want. And by the way, if anytime you make a joke and I don't laught it doesn't mean I got offended, it could just be that I didn't understood the joke because I have a quite good English level but I'm not bilingual ;D

WITHOUT too much  ridicule .

I see what you did there. ;)

Haha, well, keep up the great work, Anubis! I hope you find a good Zelda emulator soon, because that was going to be the first G&W I bought. ;D
