32X Cases Questions
SonicAdvDX:
So, I've heard that 32X games are hard to fit into the Genesis clamshells. Is this true? I've been using recycled Genesis clamshells for all of my Genesis casing needs, and I was planning on using them for my 32X collection that I'm going to start. Unfortunately, I don't have any 32X games to try this out with, so I was sondering if any of you guys could test this theory that it can't be done.
Second question, I have seen a rare few 32X games that didn't originally come in a cardboard crap case, but a Genesis-like clamshell. The only one I can remember coming in a plastic case is NBA Jam, and that game isn't exactly cheap online. So, does anybody happen to know off hand, or have a list of all of the 32X games that came in plastic clamshell cases? (I've heard it was only Acclaim games, but I may be wrong.)
Really appreciate it guys.

Yeah 32x games don't typically fit very well into a Genesis case. Although some of the Genesis cases have slightly larger cart holders and can accomodate the 32x cart. The only way to find those though is to try a few and see if you're lucky.
Some 32x Acclaim releases did come in plastic cases, they are NBA Jam, NFL Quarterback Club and the two WWF Wrestling games. Those ones are designed to hold a 32x cart and fit perfectly.
I also heard that you can fit 32x cartridges into the Genesis EA cartridges, but I haven't tried it myself. I could see it working though since they were typically too big for a Genesis game. :P

Thats what i personally use for my 32X games. Depending on the EA genesis case you may have to cut out a VERY small piece of plastic from the holder :) Problem is trying to find all those EA genesis cases

You can get some of those terrible EA games on eBay for a dollar. They were infamous for making awful sports games that no one wants.

I've picked up EA games at pawn shops and convinced them to sell to me for 50 cents each.
