How do you keep them in order, alphabetical , genre, or year released?

I'm trying to keep mine in alphabetical order, but then you have game's with sequels that have no title's like the first game, like StarTropics and Zoda's Revenge or Golgo 13 and The Mafat Conspiracy.

What do you do with these games if your trying to keep your collection in alphabetical order do you keep it next to the first game or put it with the other titles in alphabetical order?

In order of "like".  Games I like and play start on the top shelf and games i dont play much find their way to the dusty bottom.

Alphabetical all the way! I do have a few exceptions if the game is part of a series. For example I have Ultimate Mortal Kombat with my other Mortal Kombat games.

All alphabetical huh? ;D

I just sort them by system, after that by release region (JP/US/EU) and finally according to case size....

Am I weird Sebastian?

No Seb you aren't. The others are weird. They hate you. They want to hurt you. They want to kill you. Kill them first....

Psssssss. Be quiet Sebastian.

Don't say I didn't tell you Seb.

Well i meant to say alphabetical by system. I don't mix my systems because it can look very odd.  If something is in a different case for the same system then i put it at the end of the collection for that system.

  • ...and that's the bottom line
I went with alphabetical too. If something is in another case then I try to replace it with a matching case :) I don't buy steelcases on principle because of this. Same with games that have an extra cardboard sleeve like Vanquish, Borderlands or the GTA double pack for PS2. I keep them but I try to replace them so that they all line up nicely on the shelf. Mixing regions is ok if the case type is the same. If not then I seperate the regions and organize them alphabetically. Right now I just throw them in the cabinet because I'm out of room and just keep the new games I have yet to play on top. Yes,  it's a mess :)

Divided into system, then sorted alphabetically. I keep track of what I haven't played with the backloggery, so that isn't an issue.
