There are 3 opinions on this:
- Earthbound Zero, thus calling SNES Earthbound Earthbound
- Earthbound, thus calling SNES Earthbound Earthbound 2
- Mother, thus calling SNES Earthbound Mother 2.
I'm thinking going with option 2, because I just like name Earthbound Zero, and the original name Mother is just too wierd.

There are a number of Games cross platform that are titled the same and can end up being completely different games.

I just found out that there is a basket ball game also starring the same characters... It's called "Hot Blooded Street Basket Dunk Heroes"
