hmm? hmmmmm? I had to, guys. :)

Oh, and FYI - I'm clearly a moron at IMANDIX, so if anybody could tell me how to post the cases as you guys have been, please let me know. Otherwise, this view'll have to do.

hey argobeat, just throwing this out there. Do you think the spine label would look better if it were matching the front label? Like instead of black have it be gold like the front. I personally think it would look more awesome but its your template. What do you think?

I'm totally gonna have to agree with this. Gold on the spine would look totally badass.

Gold spine, no - sorry. I tried it before it and just looked "cheap" to me. The retail games have a black bar on the spine as does Irvgotti and I's Japanese DVD template (we threw around the possibility of a gold spine during the DVD template process and agreed that the black looked better), If I were to make it gold it would throw off the Satakore branding as well.

Actually I was thinking in terms of the spine cards that came on the original retail Saturn games, which are gold

Also all the DVD covers that are uploaded to the site have them too.

Yep, the spine cards are gold but I converted it from this thread: http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=4182.15

Uploads just haven't been working since we made the new template haha

My line of thinking was: when you put a Japanese Saturn game on the shelf, you don't wrap the spine card around it (or I've never heard of anybody doing this lol all of my spinecards are tucked away safe) you just put the game on the shelf, which is a black spine. Some Saturn games also have a custom spine where the text or background is "special" when I made a few of those covers they all looked better with the black spine.

Regardless, it's still a work in progress - but unless there's a unanimous vote for gold spined saturn games I'm going to stick with the black. And even if there is, I'll more than likely continue making black spined covers.

Alright, i've decided that this case type is popular enough to warrant separate threads for each system.  This thread will be for Sega Saturn covers from now on  :)

Is there anywhere to download your template Argo?

Here is a cover I've been working on.

Does anybody want re-scans of the following games? There are already dvd sized covers on the site, so I'm not going to scan unless somebody wants them for the new format.

Bust-a-Move 2
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos
Shining Force 3
Solar Eclipse
Street Fighter The Movie

Hey guys! It's been a pretty long time since I've jumped back into the forums - still no uploads? That's kind of lame, but I threw together these four 8poly Japanese Saturn covers. I really like the way the Japanese Saturn games are converting over to these - it's fairly easy. If you want to make a Japanese Saturn 8-poly, I BEG that you use the template I've uploaded to keep everything consistent. There is nothing worse than downloading that one cover you need and having it be different from every other cover.

Anyways, woohoo for being back - and hope you guys like what I've put together.

EDIT: The two Virtua Cops have been uploaded and the spine overrun has been fixed.

I think I finally found suitable cases, haven't recieved the dimensions of the three versions yet (5 CD, 10 CD and 20CD), but what are the dimensions of your covers (front heifgt/width & spine height/width) so I know to order the correct or closest ones?

They're the same size as Shenske's PS1/DC 8poly template
