So I finally finished the worst undertaking that I ever hope to come across in casing my video game collection, and that was modifying two DS cases to hold the original Pokemon Pinball. (Boy, was it a pain.) But now the pain is over, and I couldn't be happier with the result!

(Actually, I could be happier, but more on that later.)
Here's the front. I didn't want to use the one already on the site, because it has that stupid, huge Australian-or-whatever "G" rating taking up too much real estate on the front, so I scanned my own box and threw this together. I doubted it was up to par with TCP's quality control, but after printing out, I see that it looks PERFECT, so I might be uploading the cover(s) later.

(I don't know why tinypic made these first few pictures sideways. I REALLY hate them. Anybody suggest a better site for me?)
Anyway, there's the front, I'm sure you get the idea. Here's the spine/back, my favorite.

Here's the game sitting in the case. Upside down, but that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Here are some close-ups of the absolute hack-job I did on the inside of this case.

As you can see in the first picture, my first mistake was cutting the boxes all the way to the damn edges. That proved to be a real pain later on in the making of this case. Because cutting out the whole back required cutting out the whole back part of the plastic sleeve that holds the cover in place. I didn't think forward enough to realize that this would be a HUGE problem later on. None of the glues and epoxies that I own could glue back the glossy plastic cover to the smooth plastic case, so as you can see, I just stapled that bastards together. It actually worked surprisingly well. It doesn't look great, but it's on the inside, so I'm the only person who will ever see it.

Also, to keep the two cases attached, I used some Seal-All brand contact adhesive/sealant. First I glued the two backs together, then I put an extra light layer of the stuff on the outside where the two meet. It's only been drying for about two hours as of when I took these pictures, and it looks much better in person.
All in all, I gotta say, I'm happy with the way it came out, even though that glue is making it stink to high heavens right now.

Considering that I had no power tools to work with, just an X-Acto knife, a stapler, and some fancy glue, I gotta say I'm not too displeased with my poor-man's Pokemon Pinball case.

Tell me what you guys things, and
PLEASE pointers for my next double-DS case project. (I still have Mega Memory Card and GameShark cases to make for my Gameboy collection...

)
If any of you guys are going to do this project yourselves, feel free to PM me to get the covers that I used, to make that split-title spine.
