I opened up my brand new copy of Pokemon Black to find out that it did not have the place to store GBA games.  The place where they are normally kept is just smooth.  Have DS games been coming like this for a while?  I haven't seen anyone posting about it yet.

Do you think this was just for Pokemon?  Because the game card was a darker than how they usually are?  Has this been the way Nintendo has been selling them?  I haven't bought a DS game in a while.

The carts for Pokemon Black/White/Heartgold/Soulsilver are all dark because they have infared technology built into them. It does a bit to prevent piracy and is a way for the carts to connect to one another/the Pokewalker.
