...yet there is quite a bit of artwork to download on the site for them.  I'm guessing there are multiple types of UGC's or are most people modding them to fit standard US NES games?

most people mod their UGCs to make them fit but others use VHS or double wide DVD cases as well, then youd have to tweak the cover dimensions a bit. I personally mod mine with a nice sharp swiss army knife, cuts through nice and clean with little effort. You could also use a dremel tool but thats kinda messy.

thanks guys!  after lurking around I eventually found that thread, but it seems like a lot fo work for the 50+ NES games I wanted to bookshelf.  Oh well, I'm hoping someone created a alternate UGC for NES, Master System, and Atari consoles!  That'd be awesome!

To be honest, you're better off sticking with the UGCs - it's a site standard at this point. Then again, I'd rather clip off a few bits of plastic for 51 NES games rather than sit in Photoshop editing 51 covers to fit a non-UGC case.

But, that's just me.   ;)
