MASSIVE ANSWERING POST!!!

In your distant plans for the PS1 template, will you do a grey version to? Or just the black one. I think I would like to switch all my PS1 games to the grey template.
For right now the plan is for a black spine only.  The only reason why i was making covers in the "Gray PSone" style was to differentiate it from the PS2 dvd covers. Now that the covers are already in a much different size case i personally don't see then need. I thought about it but it would be weird to have the top part of spine gray and the rest of the spine black (i like having a solid color for the spine if possible).

Edit: You guys think these cases would be a suitable alternative to DS cases? If anything I think it might be easier to fit some bigger games in these (Warioware Twist/E-reader/Mario Party E) with a bit less modification needed than DS cases.
No, the cases are a very different size than DS cases. It would stick out like a massive soar thumb sitting next to all of the other DS cases.  If i were you i'd stick to the double wide stacked ds cases for now.

Does any one know whereto get these in Europe?
Did neither of the places i linked offer to ship to Europe?

As much as I want to convert to these cases for my PS1, DC, and TG16 games, I think I might have to pass. Im not liking the idea of them beeing thicker than standard DVD cases so it would take more space that Im already getting short on.
Its only a millimeter different on the spine.  It would only take up one extra space every 14 games. Since it's much shorter than DVD cases it should save you much more space, especially if you decided to stack them on top of each other.

Ill probably whip up a concept soon. but you can also make one and we can see what we can come up with.
Personally i'd like it if you made a template for it since you did such an awesome job with the dvd template :)

I tried to create uniformity between the cases, that way you can scan your eyes across and not have to deal with wacky fonts....but that's just me.
Personally i like to use the actual logos from the game art.  I left both option in the template and it is your freedom to do as you please.

Instead of plain arial I suggest matching the font. Simple copy n paste job. ;D
EDIT: on the spine that is.  ;)
Even though its not a direct match i always use arial in my templates so there is no font dispacement. You are welcome to use whateve font or logo you would like  :)

But they are great! *facepalm* ordered another 50 *end facepalm*
Yeah i'm debating on getting another 100 cases (on top of the other 100 i already have) for myself  ;D

Whew .... Alright, next up more covers and pics of the cases  ;D

Probably do but shipping from US to Finland is frikking expensive, that's why I'd prefer European place to buy.

I was going to make some NTSC recreations of the japanese art for the standalone releases of Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI for this template if nobody else minds. I'd started to do some jewel case ones a long time ago but never finished it up, so I already have most of the needed art.

After all, we don't have enough Final Fantasy covers on the site.  ;)

i found these cases, they are thinner, and they dont require you to put your game sin sleeves. down side is some games will require multiple cases

No offense but a different case type would be better suited for the "FAQ: Where can I buy cases?" thread or its own thread entirely.  I chose this type case since it could be bought in bulk, cheaply and accommodate as many discs any ps1 game has. I saw that type case on quite a few websites but with my personal experience they are kind of cheap.

This thread is exclusively for the 8-disc poly cases as the insert would not fit any other type of case

sorry dude, though you might be interested, since these fill pretty much the same conditions (price and disc capacity)  as the 8 disc cases, but were more space friendly.

will be more careful about where i post in the future

It'd just be another alternative, like the vertical SNES and N64 covers.

Yep, got to start somewhere. I'm actually not using any of the dvd artwork we have on the site, just the jewel case art (its easier that way).

I'm excited to convert these. Having my PS1 and PS2 games mixed together in DVD cases is starting to bother me.
