All 39 of the covers i have made so far in this thread have been uploaded to the site. Also important to note they have all been reconverted to have the new template dimensions (that was a lot of work :P ). Hope you guys like them  :)

Wow, that must have taken a lot of time! Sheesh.

Great job on these, bud! I can't wait to see your Dreamcast template! Once that gets done, and the TG16/CD template is finally finished, I will definitely be buying at least 200 of these poly cases for my PS1, DC, TG16/CD collections. ;D Glad you found these cases, man! The TCP community is definitely showing an awesome amount of support for this new medium.

Next time i'm home i'll take a picture with my phone (its the only camera i have).  That may be some time though as I've only been home 4 days out of the past 30+

Just curious what kind of paper other people are using for these covers seeing as they are to long for letter paper. I have been using 11 by 17 inch, 67 lbs. cover stock which I cut lengthwise in half and get two covers out of a sheet.

I've been using 8.5 x 14 paper for just about all the covers I print out.

Definitely. If you're printing these covers out at a print shop, like I am, just tell them to print on Legal sized paper (8.5 x 14). I use that for ever cover I've ever printed from this site, and I've never had a single problem.  ;)

I have been trying to get my blacks to print more blackness. It looks decent but not quite as deep as a commercial printing job. Looking for some larger glossy paper to try printing on but the stores around here don't have very much variety in anything larger than 8.5 x 11.

I always print on regular old legal paper. No gloss or anything fancy. It really depends on the printer, whether it's inkjet or laser, the printing resolution, etc. Are you printing at a print shop like Kinko's? If so, be sure to mess with the quality settings when you're about to print. I always try to print with a laser printer, 600dpi with "Fine" printing speed and "Best" image quality. Don't just open up the program and hit print, mess around with the settings and pretty much just change everything to the best quality possible.

I do my printing at home on an inkjet and always mess around with the settings. It may be my ink because I do refill my cartridges. Some day I will upgrade to a color laser.

I'm not sure that refilling your cartridges is the problem. I'm thinking that it's because it's an inkjet. A good portion of the people on this forum, myself included, would advise against using inkjets. Unless you have a badass inkjet, but from the sound of your experience with it, it doesn't seem to be very badass. :P  I would definitely hold off until you can get your hands on a laser, if I were you.

Great job on this Shenske! I'm in on this recasing of sorts.

I had one of these smaller cases a long time ago and completely forgot about it, such a better alternative. The version I had was a single disc that did fit the instruction manual and was the same width and depth as a normal DVD case just shorter. I like these ones on there as well because you can use the sleeves to store and protect the instruction book as well as store multidisc games in one case effortlessly.

The best part is that after I transfer all my discs to the smaller size, I will have extra DVD cases for the rest of my games that I have left over! The collection shall be coming closer to custom completion. If only I would stop getting new retro games....

I have always used standard paper for printing. Is that maybe why my UGC covers always seems slightly smaller? I compensated and just have a small white border around all my UGC games which works because my paper cutter skills are a bit lacking.

That's exactly why. When you print on standard paper, you have to scale it down to fit on the page. Only legal or bigger can fit a 100% sized cover print-out. I'm pretty sure that goes for all of the covers on our site, DS ones included.

Well Son of a Batch! LMAO....

The DS and DVD cases have printed fine, maybe only losing 5-10 pixels, but the UGC ones were much smaller. I can't believe I never thought to search or ask about that. Now the question is, do I reprint 200+ covers or not.... lol  :o
I'll likely start the PS1 covers the right way and print all future covers properly. Being that custom covers is a favorite hobby of mine, I'll likely do it eventually.

The other issue is that I would have to re-download them all off the site and I know bandwidth is a premium here for some reason. A little FYI to the webmaster, I host my website through justhost.com and for a little under $100 a year I get unlimited bandwidth, so that might help you out with costs. Another option is that you guys can PM me and we can work something out through my site, so you guys can save on bandwidth.
