Hey ppl

I thought I'd finally sign up after using the site for a lot of N64 covers for all my unboxed games. My current mission is to collect every PAL released N64 game. So far I have 194 games out of the 242 (I think) that were ever released.

Anyway after aquiring some UGC's I've started to box up the carts which I didnt have boxes for. I still have more to do but this is how my UGC boxed collection looks so far:

Holy crap that's a lot of cartridges! I'd suggest looking for covers with the same spine designs on them. Looks like you have a few NTSC covers printed out, but that's just me being nitpicky.

Lord above!

I've just started re get back into my N64, and I decided to try and sort a collection out, but whoa! I never realised there were that many games available! And you say it's only semi-complete!

Were there more US than UK games released?

Oh, nice collection btw, a proper Nintendite. Ace!

"That many games available"?

The n64 library is actually rather small compared to most game systems. The SNES for example has a library of over 700 games, and that's not including PAL and NTSC-J exclusives! The Sega Genesis has over 900! And the ps1? Oh man... over 1200. Those are all just US totals. The n64's ~300 is puny compared to those.

The US N64 has more games, btw 296. This guy has a near complete n64 collection, he's missing like 3 wierd japanese exclusives:

Dang, 688 games were released on the dreamcast during its lifespan, and the DC is considered a failure. and the Saturn has 540 games.

Well I guess quality over quantity.

You want to talk about real failures? Look at the measly 34 game 32x library, or the 15 Virtual Boy games.

DC wasn't really a failure if you look at the hard numbers. 10 million consoles sold is pretty damn good for a two year lifespan. Sega just wasn't up to fighting the juggernaut that was Sony and the Playstation 2.

How about the 69 games on the Magnavox Odyssey 2, the C64 GS which only used Carts and had no way of using floppies or cassettes. Werent there 14 games released on gizmondo? Then there is the Vectrex, a library so small, you can fit the entire library on one cart with room for homebrew. Vectrex is still awesome though.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I tried to stick to using vertical covers but with all the games I have there are only so many that have been made in the vertical format. All the covers are PAL, however theres a couple which have the NTSC spines but PAL front and back covers.

Being as the N64 library was quite smallish, that was my prime reason for collecting them.

I did a few more covers last night:

and heres the rest of the carts I need to box up:

While I'm on the vibe of posting pics, heres all my original boxed games (excuse the pink walls, I've just moved in and this was the previous owners kids bedroom):
