I'm glad they're done as well. I feel Activision didn't understand the rhythm gaming market very well and ran it dry as fast as possible. I personally jump around from Rock Band 3 to real instruments. I think Rock Band promotes learning an instrument while also finding a way to appeal to musicians. Guitar Hero was more arcade-y for me. It appealed to a small crowd of hardcore rhythm game players yet appealed to noone else. That being said, it sucks to see so many people being laid off. I imagine there were some awesome people working on those games. |

I feel bad if anyone got laid off, but seriously 19 games within 5 years is just a bit ridiculous and no I'm not exaggerating http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/114/1149263p1.html --- End quote --- Haha are they going to bury all the GH instruments next to all the ET Atari carts? ::) |

no surprise, a lot of people have been over the guitar hero games for a while now, myself included. I actually just got the first 3 for ps2 recently in a lot for dirt cheap, but i lack the guitar controller still. played the second one at partys a lot when it came out, fun games. |
