Some are same size as GBA manuals, some smaller about size of Virtual Boy manuals.

So bulging only if manual is too thick (multilanguage manuals).

To combat this I will start buying EU DS cases.

Pretty sure GB/GBC/GBA/VB manuals are all the same size. And they fit perfectly in a DS case. Just need to cut out a peice of plactic.

In the US, most GB/GBC manuals are the same size as GBA manuals.  There are some exceptions (in particular, the original Link's Awakening manual comes to mind...)

Probably reproductions, but yes. Store.nintendo.com. And only Pokemon R/B and Super Mario Land 2 are the really old ones.

If you cut out everything that isn't necessary for the case to close on the manual side then yes it will fit. I have done it for Pokemon Red & Yellow. I'll take pics next time i'm home and post them here to show you.

European manuals are much thicker because they got more languages in them. That is why EU DS cases have a wider spine I think.

Wait.... What!? There's a Nintendo store that sells manuals that old!?

If they have the originals still around they send those, otherwise hey basically just send you photocopied pages that make up the manual.....I got some for some GBA games but I think they did it by page number....can't even cut it out and staple it together to look right.

Here's a couple of the different sizes I have. Standard GBC and GBA manuals are the same size and are pictured on the top. Under that is a large GBC which requires almost everything to be cut out and then I hot glue the tabs back in to hold the manual. On the bottom are standard GBA manuals which only requires the top bar to be cut out. On the far right is what a DS manual looks like.
