So, back in November 2005, I became a proud owner of a Panasonic Q system.

After owning this rare piece of Nintendo history, and having it sit on display for many years in my room, I found out that Panasonic did offer a Game Boy Player attachment exclusively made for the Panasonic Q. However, these were only available through special order at the time of the Q's rather short lifespan. Thus making them extremely rare.

I never would have thought that I would finally get my hands on one, until' recently. I took the plunge, and forked out the heavy cash for a Game Boy Player attachment for my Panasonic Q.

Here are some pictures I took:

Just out of curiousity. What did it cost you? The Q itself is pretty costly but also really good looking but the Player is pretty damn expensive normally considering it's just a piece of plastic. ;D

I cringe at the price, but I really wanted it. I paid $215 total. Which isn't too bad considering that I've seen some go for $300.

Oh my god. That is almost the same you get a used Q for. Considering the normal Gameboy Player goes for what, 20 Euros maybe? Phew.

Not bad.  I paid $501.68 for my Q and the Game Boy Player.  Both were 100% complete, packaging and all.  The Q is in excellent shape and is modded internally to play US games as well as the original Japanese titles.  And they were shipped over from the UK (and got hung up in customs.... I was freaked out!).
