Well, I changed rooms and got to build shelves to house all my console games.

Upper left is PS1, below that is Dreamcast, below that is PS2, below that is Gamecube.
Upper right is NES, second shelf on the right is the beginning of the gameboy DS project, below that is the N64 section.

The consoles/TV gotta move because the wife wants the desk for crafting....
Need a bigger TV anyways...   ;D

  • ...and that's the bottom line
Looking great. I hope this is how my collection looks like once I have completed my collection (at least up to DC games the rest is going to take a 1 or 2 more years :))

Btw, so you did build these shelves yourself? I like the way they're just big enough for the different games for different consoles. It's kinda hard to find a shelve at IKEA (or a furniture store of your choice)  where DC or PS1 games look good next to DVD cases :)

Nice and versatile collection...

AND

A really really nice shelf.... I could use such a thingy myself because up to now my games are mostly stored on the floor.... :( Haven't got cases anyway but that might change soon ;) and there still will be no fitting and worthy shelf....

Yes, I built the shelves. That is what I was doing yesterday. The reason the games fit is that the shelves are all adjustable, so I kept moving them up/down until I got them like I wanted them.
If you look at the big picture, under the N64 cases on the left you can see the tracks for the shelves.

Thanks for noticing...   ;D

Man I wish I had a shelf like that. I just have a crappy cuboard to put my stuff in. And then there is the fact that I have like games scattered all over the damn house. Just the other day I found out that I left my copy of Rambo for the SMS in the living room :P

Mine does not actually mind either......
she knows it is a sickness I have.....  (Game collecting)

Problem is that since I have been here in Minnesota, I have picked up so many games (PSX/DC) that I may need more shelves.......
(I could not help myself... they were giving the things away....)
