all right i been thinking for a long time and still dont know are you still playing a classic game if your playing it on a emulator kind of weird but if your thinking about it many people like classic games but if your playing on an emulator, dose it fell like your playing a real nintendo but your not, dose it have the same classic fell. many people like playing on real nintendos now thats how classic fells but on an emulator not so much a CLASSIC fell what do you think. PS this post was done on my sega dream cast using seganet THE DREAM CAST IS COOL and just to say the EMU reviewer is cool

I just can't explain but I don't feel the same when playing through an emulator. The consoles provide a much more richer experience. I cannot say if its due to the controller, or the old TV to which my Nintendos are connected, it's just better like this.

I agree with rafingon there's nothing like the authentic feeling of the original. But! I do enjoy some of my handhelds on a larger screen. It may be something about always wishing to play it on a bigger screen when I was younger :p

I really have to agree with you on this man, I have the whole castlevania series on the DS but i never play them on it, i rather play it on an emulator because it gives me more the feeling that SotN gave me before :).

But i still rather play the cosole versions on the original, one example, I love playing with my friends and make tournaments on my AES but when i try it on an emulator i stop playing it at once, same for the SNES when i start playing it it's hard to stop but on an emulator the fun is out of it at once "you may call me crazy 8)"

I've stopped using emulators for classic games since I rather play it safe than sorry. Now, I just go for the real deal: getting the games as it is. Just like most of you guys, it is more realistic to play the games on their actual systems and don't have to worry about frame-skips and sudden pauses.

Although, through some exceptions, I do still use emulators for hacks or foreign games. Other than that, that is all what I use them for currently.
