Virtual Boy Concept

I noticed VB games just fit into dvd cases nicely so I whipped up a concept template.
I have four games and luckily i saved my boxes and they are in great shape. mario tennis did not have a box since it came with the system but i do have the manual which has some art in it and the logo on the cover.(I looked and there is a Japanese cover for it I could possibly use. The manuals for vb are really nice usually with colored artwork inside. I also have the manuals in great shape I don't think Ive even looked in them until now.
Here is the concept I was going to go with it still needs to be perfected but any comments or input is welcome.



I used an emulator called red dragon to gets some screenies it doesn't emulate perfectly but good enough for some shots

Very nice lookng cover, but I think I will go with DS cases or half height DVD/CD cases just because of space saving.

Oh boy, I could imagine those covers being almost as headache inducing as the games themselves. I like the idea, but the red on black was NEVER a good idea.

Well most of the time you'd only see the spine, that's not so bad.

But more multi-colored covers would still be nice.

It's a nice Template, feels kinda bloody tough "would maybe fit a Castlevania game". But i think it could be better if the Game Spine Logo was colored and the back desciption letter would be white too "or multy colored".

Any chance youd be interested in making a new retail DS Template?  We do already have one and Shenske did do a good job but Id say its missing a few things (Pink lines and Purple shadow behind the VB logo). Unless shenske wants to go back and make a few fixes.  I have 5 Virtual Boy games I can contribute to get the Virtual Boy section started (Mario Clash, Panic Bomber, Red Alarm, Vertical Force and Wario Land), 3 of which I already put together on Shenskes template.

That would be great shenske! Then I can convert the 3 I have done over to the updated template and finish up the last 2 I have and maybe we can finally open up that Virtual Boy Section!

Converting those US covers to EU size is dead easy. Takes two minutes in ps.
