I've been a bit of a long time peruser of the various game covers, maybe about a year or so, but finally decided to join the community. I've dabbled with my own covers but this place blows them away. So on with the show off stuff I guess.

Well, after seeing some of the gaming setups and collections, I thought I should show off my setup. I've been working as a home theater installation technician for a couple of years so have really tried to make everything as functional as possible, because you never know when the urge to play some Thunderforce 3 or X-men vd Street Fighter happens. Forgive the image quality. It's from my cell phone.

This is my center console as it were. It houses just about every system I own, except for a Gamecube, PS2, Master System, Genesis slim, and Atari 2600. It's all functional too. I use a joytech switch box to switch between all the classic systems and an AV receiver shown in the next picture for PS3, 360 and Wii.

I'm using a Yamaha 6190 as my a/v center, with everything hubbed into it via the silver joytech switch box, or HDMI/component cables.

Finally everything together, with a Panasonic 50" plasma S1 series. Speakers are Jamo and Precision Acoustics (made by JBL)

The cat is also fully functional and integrated with my sound system whenever she decides to lie down on the vents of the Yamaha.

My game collection is fairly extensive but I'm trying to get it all out on display and covered as it were before snapping anything resembling a pic.

Hope you guys like it. Any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them.

Welcome to the site!

Consoles have been the hardest for me to organize in my small room. I finally have to give up on playing Jenga with them and took everything off my dresser except the PS2/360. An A/V switch was definitely needed, but never bought :P

My wife more or less hated how everything was sort of haphazard before so she wanted me to get it organized. Those shelves are actually from Home Depot, and can hold just about any console, albeit with a few exceptions, notably an Atari 2600, and Master System. It's not quite wide enough for those, although if you get the '4 cube' version, it could fit on top. I got the dual shelf version, with 2 cube shelves and placed them side by side. I tried with one at first just to see whether or not she approved, and after a very favorable response, she said to get the rest of the shelves. I had to hack the shelving a bit in the middle one. The shelves can be placed in 1/4s but i had to make it 1/3s to fit ps3 and 360. Ironically, the original Xbox fits perfectly on the 1/4 shelf position despite it being thought of as one of the largest consoles ever made.

Ikea carries the same idea just with a thicker frame and no back. I had to cut out openings in the back for ventilation for the newest consoles. I had a white 360 model originally so cut the back opening accordingly, but the slim one vents top/side of the unit so ventilation for the top is not very good. I have to put a few holes in the top to allow heat escape.

I do have a whole bunch of Genesis game inserts to scan so I'll look at the request side and see what I can offer. I'll be making a few of my own seeing as some of what i have isn't up, but those templates really make things easier.

Some Genesis covers are needed, but NES and SNES ones would be nicer if you have them.

Tuirned into covers would be nicerer ;D

Spent a day organizing games. Not in the picture, my cart games. I'm waiting for a double shipment of universal game cases to case them. Ended up getting a lot of games without the case and also hated those horrendous cardboard that pretty much got shredded over time.
