| NES Power Pad - 2 questions |
| (1/1) |
| Arseen:
First how durable is the mat? I mean can it be used by a larger adult with out it breaking. Which leads to my second question, which was actually my the original question: I was wondering how hard would it be to build metallic version of the mat controller (or actually 2, 1 for each side) by for example buying few of these http://www.polarpanda.com/store/metal-deluxe-dance-platform-tx1501-p-1542.html and reusing the parts. Not the actual build, which my neighbor can easily do, but would the wiring be hard to do. Does anyone know where to get the wiring diagram for this? All I found was this: http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=54 Interesting idea to use the Power Pad to play Track'n field and such games. Maybe create two button mat to replace A- and B-buttons with controller used to do the rest! |

I've had my Powerpad for over 20 years and it still works. If that doesn't tell you something about its durability I'm not sure what more I can say. As for a metal version, no idea. In theory I guess, but you're suppose to use it on carpet with only socks on. |
