It's beautiful... :D My single spine will no longer be blank until I've sucked it up and bought duplicate copy to swipe a back insert (and then flip to re-coup a majority of my cost). You, sir, are fantastic. |

Yes, it was retouched. That particular scan came because a European collector I work with wanted a Saturn Bomberman back insert. So I bought a sealed Bomberman game on eBay, scanned it, sent the back to Europe, and resold the game with a retouched photo quality back insert. The ebay listing clearly identified the back insert as a reproduction. It was a pain in the butt, but I got some good scans out of it and my European friend's collection is now U.S. complete. :) Retouching Saturn cover scans has become a hobby of mine for some reason. My goal is to get all of them done at 300 dpi. At this point, I have done all of the U.S. ones at one resolution or another, and some have been redone several times. My earlier efforts weren't so good, so some of them are slated for redos when I get suitable scans. Front covers usually take me 2-3 hours to clean up and back covers are on the order of an hour, except that I spent more time with Bomberman because I was reselling it and the game is so special. |
