Great job on the NES starting guide. It was very interesting to read. Didn't even know there were so many variations and clones of the NES.

haha no kidding. when it comes to clones of the Famicom (which coined the term Famiclones) there's really no limit to the number of variants out there. There are Famiclones shaped and designed after nearly every system under the sun from ones that look like a Sega Genesis, original Xbox, even PS3!

Take a look over this article that lists just some of the known Famiclones, most of which I didn't mention.

What's crazy is the Famiclone that I have, the Family Entertainment System, isn't on this list either. Attack of the Clones....
