Alrighty, time for another review. Thought I'd talk this time about the first of the Gameboy Megaman games, Dr. Wily's Revenge. Completely the opposite of the NES Megaman 1, I distinctively remember thinking Megaman was cool based on the boxart for this Megaman 1. Enjoy! http://satoshimatrix.wordpress.com/2011/01/28/megaman-dr-wilys-revenge-review-gb/ |

Here's a video review I made a while ago but I think you guys would love to see it. It's a detailed look at one of the BEST Famiclones ever made, the GameAxe Color. What makes it awesome? It's accurate to the real system specs and doesn't produce NOAC sound. And yes, it plays MMC5 games. The GameAxe Color video review. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etMSOQs5zOo Enjoy. |

It's been a while since I put up a review, so here's two I've been working on for the last month or so. Zero Wing for the Sega Megadrive. You know what you doing. http://satoshimatrix.wordpress.com/2011/02/13/zero-wing-review-megadrive-2/ Warlocked for the Gameboy Color, a RTS that defies what should be possible for such limited hardware. Enjoy! http://satoshimatrix.wordpress.com/2011/02/27/warlocked-review-gbc-3/ Also, I'm on twitter now. You can follow me at twitter/bradykachan. Thanks! |

While not a review, I thought I should post this here rather than create a new thread for it. I've been asked by a lot of people what is the best NES to buy, which system one is best suited for their young kids and many more such questions. After being asked for the millionth time such questions, I decided to write a handy dandy buyer's guide for 8-bit Nintendo systems. This is intended for first time buyers as well as long time veterans. With so many choices out there, I thought I should go over the strengths and weaknesses of each. Hope you guys enjoy!
