OK, I have scanned 18 PAL DC covers that I don't think are here yet.  But, it may be that someone has already completed these and they simply aren't on display yet.  I noticed that Valeman has completed quite a few that aren't on the site (Although I am a little bewildered as his posts are from early December, and he has put quite a bit off effort into these.  The backlog must be bigger that from 26 January..or I just don't have any understanding).

Anyway, I uploaded Shenmue and Soul Fighters (see sample below). All cases are converted to standard Jewel Cases.  I have the following to go.  Please let me know if any of these are already up (PAL Cases I mean.  Not custom, US, or JAP), and I won't upload.  Otherwise, I will upload these over the next two nights.

Time Stalkers (I have sent a RAW in the past)
Vigilante 8 - Second Offense
Ready 2 Rumble
Sonic Adventure
Tokyo Highway Challenge
Fighting Force 2
Trick Style
Wacky Racers
South Park Rally
South Park Chefs Luv Shack
Ducati World
Slave Zero
Racing Simulation - Monarco GP
Vanishing Point
F1 Racing

Valeman has taken care of the other covers I have.

  • ...and that's the bottom line
I have uploaded raw scans for Vanishing Point PAL. But you have to ask TheValeman if it would be better to upload your scans for that game. Somehow he is not happy with some of my scans although I've put in ALL the scanner knowledge I had :D (I'm just joking mate ;))

KaiserWAVE, I had a look at VP and I see what Valeman means.  The right side is cut a little.  But it's not really your fault.  I had a look at my VP cover and noticed that on it (and on some other covers) the dreamcast logo is offset to the right, with little space between the border and the edge.  I think if the orginal cover had the logo in the centre as it should have been, then your scan would have been OK.  The Ducati World cover I scanned below has a similar problem.  I scanned the full cover (nothing is cropped) but as you can see, the logo is far off centre, which makes it appear that the cover might be cropped (even though, as I have said, It wasn't).

Anyway, I have scanned all the covers.  I only have time tonight to make up three.  The rest will come tomorrow night (I hope).

Samples Below.

Ok!

I'll use this thread(hope it's ok lish :) ) to question which covers are needed and which are allready uploaded.
I mean cd cover like games...
There would be for now:

Dreamcast =>
Omikron - The Nomad Soul(PAL)
Blue Stinger(PAL)
Shenmue(PAL) - I think lish posted this cover but there are two different backs right?
ChuChuRocket(PAL)

Sega Mega Cd =>
Road Avenger(PAL)
Ecco the Dolphin(PAL)
Star Wars - Rebel Assault(PAL)

Want some?  ;D

Regards Sebastian

P.S. What did you mean by converted to cd cases? Does that mean they won't fit into the original blue dreamcast cases anymore?

Yep .... it means ..... we cant buy those phat PAL cases cheaply .... if at all .... so the spine has been changed to the slim one to faciltate storing the games in a standard CD case.

Cheers ......

I suppose changing it back to the big spine isn't too much off a hassle....
Even for a photoshop not so good doer like me....

Was just curious....

Any news on which I should post?

Regards S

P.S. I hope it's ok if I post mine without any change to the spine.... Should be easy for you people as well to change the spine part, right?

Nice quality scans Sebastian.

I just checked the back of my Shenmue cases and you are correct.  There are two rear covers.  I have uploaded the French/English ones.  The other is german/?? (Not too good on Euro flags).

Hy!

Thanks for your comment...
I hope it's ok that I didn't change the spine...
Is it allright that I left the unused background of the pics in white? I suppose when printing them this areas should stay colorless am I right?

As for Shenmue. The second back cover has german and spanish on it and slightly different "artwork"(other screenshots, some details are on other places).
It's not that important though... :)

Could someone show me the artwork of shenmue(DC) on the inside?
Would be interesting...
