Does anyone feel that a game is not "pure/complete" if you replace a cover?
I-Pwn-Tetris:
I kind of jumped to the conclusion that since its my collection, and no one else's, that I don't really care if I replace my cover. Considering I have the manual and game, I'm not that concerned. Plus its different in our age.
For example, with NES, SNES, N64, etc. the box is printed with special artwork, meaning that a box is printed for a game specifically. With a DS game on the other hand (or PS2, 360, etc.), they take a completely random case, insert the artwork, and then put in the manual and game. I would probably not be cool with replacing a manual with a printed one of the internet, but a case or the artwork is so simple and easy to replace, that I am cool with it.
Plus I plan to get a new copy of Phoenix Wright 1, and keep it sealed just to have a second copy around (yes, I am a bit nuts lol)
Thanks for the speedy replies. I am new to the site, and am loving it. I am about to go down to my university copying store (which is thankfully open 24/7) and print off the Phoenix Wright 1 artwork. I'll post back how it goes.
Thanks!

Ya I just got into collecting. It's pretty hard, especially that I don't work. Nonetheless, just got a PS2, and am loving it. And Phoenix Wright 1 is my favorite game on the DS, and the series is easily one of my favorites. Plus the prices of the game are going up, so I want to get a sealed copy soon before it takes off into the hundreds.
Btw, is there a way you can track posts on this site. I ask because you replied really quickly

Good luck! My mega man obsession has brought me to just pennies lol. And theres no way to track i was just looking around for covers and saw a reply lol
I-Pwn-Tetris:
nice, mega man is a great series. unfortunately, i have no working nes, so my favorites (mega man 2 and 3) are limited to emulators and virtual console. picking up extra copies of a game isn't too bad. I can snag a copy of Phoenix Wright 1 for $40, which is only 10 bucks higher than it originally sold for.
