| Does anyone feel that a game is not "pure/complete" if you replace a cover? |

I would rather damage a copy cover than the actual. Thats why mine are all stored away. Fading from sunlight, rips and tears from excessive opening and shutting the case, accidentally dropping some kind of sticky or liquid onto the case are all good enough reasons for me to store my original covers in a box and use the custom prints |

I ask because you replied really quickly --- End quote --- Sorry, meant to answer this one last night. You can click the "Show unread posts since last visit" and "Show new replies to your posts" links at the top of the page. My time browsing the site is generally just reading every single post that comes up, which is generally not much on an average day. |

Back to the main topic of this post.. I say negative to that. The day I become rich is the day that I will start getting everything "complete". Until that day, I will be content with getting a 2 dollar disc only version of a game and making my own custom cover to add it to my collection. Also, having plastic shell covers for systems that had cardboard boxes looks much more complete and amazing. |

To the latest poster: Yeah, I agree with you. My situation is not even that bad. I have the original case, manual and game, just the cover that's bad. I was planning to go to my local copying store, but I found out that they have a ton of different types of papers to print on. So I'm going to go back later today and bring the original damaged cover art, and try to match it with a type of material similar to the original cover art. |

You aren't going to be able to tell how THICK the insert is if it's sitting on your shelf. Most people don't realize how much thickness actually varies among say, DVDs and ps2 games. |
