Trading post???

With so many collectors and upcoming collectors and ocd-ists that may pop up here. I found it pretty weird that one doesn't exist here.
Im sure we all have some doubles maybe even triple of some games that you may want to get rid of. Any thoughts? ? ? ?

I like this idea. A whole lot.

Unfortunately, by nature, it is hard to trust other humans. Some crazy rules and enforcement would have to be created. Even with these regulations, what's to stop someone from using a friend's computer to create an account, build some rapport, and then "trade" with somebody and not give them anything in return? Scams can happen, even in a trustworthy community like TCP.

I pushed this idea out there some time ago - and Grumbleduke and I have traded on quite a few occasions.

I would definitely be up for trading with other members, but i'm in the middle of packing up for a move to France - just when i'd finally got my games room sorted too! ah well - i've got more than enough room in the new place!

Id totally be up for trading too as I find alot of good stuff in town that I already have or just dont want. I dont think Id be too comfortable with trading with just anyone tho. Probably only the very regular members.

I have many NES game duplicates and some triplicates and few quadruplicates.

And couple doubles for SNES.

I could trade with some trusted ones.

BTW ALL ARE LOOSE COPIES in pretty good shape.

Plus I have 34 extra copies of Champions World Class Soccer on Mega Drive including manual in Spanish, printed english translation of the manual and the original cover. IE everything excluding box in perfect mint condition

If anybody trust me enough, I have couple Atari 2600 doubles and 1 SNES double. I could put up a list and I can get older games quite easily in my town, would be willing to trade

Hmmm i think we can create a system. I for one am an ebay user with 100% feedback im not one for screwing or getting screwd.
Also Nintendo-Atari-Sega-Nerd which games would those be? 

I have a bunch of NES double, ill look through em and make a list.

i have a bunch of doubles i have no need for. I'll try and gather up a list of all the extra games i have. Great idea

hey also systems too, i have 4 perfectly good dreamcasts with controllers and vmus  

oh and 2 gamecubes with gameboy players (no disc) (i have 4 gameboy players total no disc tho)

The only problem I see with these threads is that they get cluttered quite quickly. I imagine that wouldn't be such a terrible thing though. btw, I did just acquire a SNES and Intellivision with no games if anyone's feeling generous.... But seriously, I think this would be awesome. I just have nothing to contribute until I get a job
