I've been spending lots of time harassing people selling various boxed games over the past few weeks. Finally got somebody (PegBoy), to help me out!
Awesome that you were not only able to get scans, but damn good ones at that! I finished the cover and it was one of the cleaner covers I've worked with. Getting rid of the crease was the worst part, otherwise there wasn't a ton of work to do. I didn't even have to re-type the text is was so clean. I couldn't make much use of the spine so I had to redo the title logo from the one on the back (not a big deal, but I had to recolor the edges and resample it against a black background or else it would have looked too choppy). Still, it turned out pretty well IMO. Again, I don't expect it to be TCP-worthy, but it's better than nothing!
I'll upload it with my next batch, hopefully sometime tomorrow. Depends on how long F-15 ends up taking me (also a clean scan there so shouldn't take more than a few hours).
