Hmm it's 600DPI but it's 2" by 1.44" (5.08 by 3.56 cm).

Is fossilweb yout site or his site?

I'd say go for direct e-mail or use mediafire or Box.net. Both are free and let you give us direct access to the image.

And yes the quality of image is very good.

Ok, I'll tell him that he should be using one of those image hosts, as I know my email will usually block messages with larger attachments.... So one of those hosts is probably the best way to go.

...oh, and "fossilweb" is his site, not mine....

I really appreciate the prompt reply Arseen.  He's at his computer now, so it's great to be able to quickly email him with suggestions, and hopefully we can get the proper scans up!

I'll hopefully re-up the Crash N the Boys, GI Joe of course, and ideally Skate Or Die 2 (which I've been looking for as well!)  :)

- He's just imformed me he's got to go to class, so I'll touch base with him again later, and hopefully we can get this all sorted out.

??  We already have a cover made for that one?  I'm guessing the quality isn't up to the sites standards or something?   If it just hasn't simply been uploaded, then I can attempt to get the guy to scan a different box, and focus his efforts scanning something else...?

Either way, I'm more interested in the other two I'm having him scan - Crash N The Boys & Skate or Die 2 :)

Ok, I got a few re-scans:

Here is Crash N The Boys (These scans are hopefully useable.... They look pretty good to me):

Front:

Back:

Left Spine:

Top of Box:

Here are the scans for Skate Or Die 2:

Front:  (I'm going to have to try to get a re-scan of the front - the scan didn't turn out all that well - Not sure why, I'm going to guess box damage?)

Back:

Left Spine:

Top Of Box:

Images look good, but still the same main problem exsists.

When he posts the images to the site he uses they appear as pictures that can be saved.
When you save the image the dimension get fucked:

600 DPI, but size of credit card.

I PM'ed you my e-mail, ask him to send them there as attachments.one

And ask if he wouldn't mind to open the boxes and scan them super flat, that would also mke only 2 scans per case necessary.

BadChad, I have some seemingly unfortunate news regarding the Power Blade scans. I tried to play around with the settings on my scanner program, and it's very limited. The only thing I really have control over is the dpi at which to scan. There are really no other options like derasterizing or anything of the like. Might my scans be getting altered by Mediafire? That would seemingly be the only other thing that I have control over.

Thats too bad. I guess theres not much you can do. Unless theres a possibility you know someone els with a scanner that you can try. Sounds like alot trouble for scans tho...

You should have a lot more control than just dpi. Are you using software that came with the all-in-one, or did you just plug and play? Here's some pics of my HP software from another thread some time ago.

After you move the crop lines to where you want them around your scan, select the last tab on the right.

There's the descreen.

If you don't have anything like this, go to HP's website where you can download the full software package.

Yeah, I know how to do it now, but I didn't back when I originally posted them.

Can anyone put together a Nintendo World Championships 1990 Reproduction cart UGC from these scans of the box that it comes from.

Back:

Note the box is only as big as the nes cart so it will require3 some empty blue space.

...why? That's a pretty simple design, adjusting the image to fit with UGC size/shape standards would be easy.
