Exact screenshots shouldnt take more than 5 minutes to grab.

How? I figure via emulator, but how exactly? I need to do this for Stadium Events and Athletic World. (and maybe more)

OK so they might not be EXACT, but they'll be pretty damn close.

Hey Guys, I'm back.  Got done with some scanning late night over at my buddy's place last night.  :)

I already have Image Fight finished accept for the spine because I dont know if its the left or the right side you sent me.

Ok, I double checked all the previous scans I had posted, I think randomly, it was just the Image Fight one that was the right side, but here is a scan of the left spine for you:  http://www.mediafire.com/i/?pebnaopa44i53j0  :)

EDIT: Ok so I found a decent picture of the back of the box for Captain America that I can read all the missing text. If you can get me scans that dont have any bluring on the front or back, I can just re build the back of the box by replacing the screenshots and retyping the back.

Ok, I re-scanned the Captain America Box, sadly, I think the scans are about the same as there might have been some mild water damage to the box?  I'm not sure, but regardless, I scanned both sides again for you: http://www.mediafire.com/?x1qdbirq43hmn

@Sneak: Was just about to start on the Zombie Nation cover and noticed theres some blurring in the top right corner. Any chance I can get a rescan of the front? This is a rare one, so it would be cool to have the cover up on the site.

Ok, again, I'm not sure if this scan is any better.  There is a bit of bend in the top corner of the box, so that might contribute to the blurriness.  I know the box itself looks like it's slightly blurry (right above that head in the upper right corner) - so I'm not sure if that's the way it originally came, or if that's just due to damage?  Regardless, again, I re-scanned the front for you:

Looking forward to getting my hands on NARC and Rock n Ball when you get the opportunity to scan them.

You got it buddy:
NARC: http://www.mediafire.com/?lm8c8kmwccsbk
Rock N Ball: http://www.mediafire.com/?9bsaoj22bgi3m
(I notice this one appears slightly sun faded.  I assume some sort of contrast adjustment would fix this in photoshop or something.  Hopefully the Rock N Ball Back is usable - There was a hang-tab on the back of the box.. :(  )

Here are the other boxes that my buddy had that I had mentioned that I would scan (nope, I didn't flake out! hahah. :)  )

Pacmania: http://www.mediafire.com/?n9zap0c11gp1m
(box has a few creases, but not too bad - IMO)

Pictionary: http://www.mediafire.com/?2bd7m5rjac1sj

Pyramid: http://www.mediafire.com/?9a8rp20oehlf2
(This is another sun-faded box.  Again, hopefully a simple adjustment in photoshop will fix it.  The box is in great shape otherwise)

RainBow Islands (PAL Version): http://www.mediafire.com/?mohgvaki2vdkv
(the spine/corner of this box isn't in great shape sadly, but figured I'd scan it since I love this artwork better than the NTSC version!)

RBI BaseBall: http://www.mediafire.com/?dtus5hu2djrpj
(another one with not the greatest spine scan... a few creases, but not too bad.  I figure they can be fixed in photoshop)

Silent Service: http://www.mediafire.com/?b83o8p89br0qd
(I was surprised not to see this box on this site.  I seem to see this CIB everywhere!)

Super Sprint: http://www.mediafire.com/?nfb8lvp1vtfrr
(back of the box has a few creases, and there is mild damage to the coners)

That's all folks! :)   Those are all of the boxes out of my buddy's 100 CIB's that we didn't have on this site.  As I mentioned previously, I've been bothering/harassing others to see if I can locate a few more scans for some of the games I'm looking for (that we don't currently have scans/covers for)... So who knows, maybe I'll have some surprise scans sometime in the future?  Time will ultimately tell, and if others are willing to go to the efforts to scan (at 600dpi no less), and send them to me.

I realize some of the boxes I just uploaded aren't in the greatest condition.  I personally don't think they're in too bad shape, but then again, I'm no photoshop whiz, so maybe some of the boxes/scans simply aren't good enough.

Whew, that was a lot of scanning/uploading! :)  Enjoy.  Hope they're of use to you guys.  I hope all the links work properly... If any don't, let me know!

Oh, OK, thought you maybe had some "magic" solution. Do you have to actually play the game to X level or do you know any easier way?

Thanks for rescanning but the blurring is still pretty bad. Makes it tough to get a good flat scan when the box isnt flattened if it has any creases or warping. Unfortunetly with the blurring, I wont be able to make a cover that meets our quality standards.

But on a good note, it should only take about 5 minutres to finish up that Image Fight cover now. Thanks!

That's too bad about the Captain America box.  I'm disapointed that my buddy doesn't have a box that's in better condition.  Oh well, I tried, if I ever come across another one that's in decent shape, I'll be sure to scan it.  ;)

On another note, I had one person fill a request that I had.  Scans of "Crash N The Boys" (NES) !!   This was a box that I'd been looking for scans of for a while...  In saying that, I'd love to see somebody make a cover for this (please).   :)

Anyways, i was just forwarded along the scans.  Hopefully these are up to par - the guy said he scanned them at 600dpi.

Thanks in advance for anybody that can work with these! :)

^^^  Looking at those scans, they seem kind of "grainy".. ?  Are people able to work with these?   (I'd love to have a Crash N The Boys Cover done! - please!)

I'm not sure if it's some sort of simple setting in photoshop to fix that, but I just wondered if somebody could give some feedback, as I'm not sure - and I'm having somebody (who I contacted online) else scan these boxes for me.

He's re-scanned them a few times, and I don't know what to suggest (if they do in fact need a re-scan), but he's doing this scanning as a favour to myself and the site, so I hate to keep asking him "er, did you mind re-scanning - yet again".. ;)

Thanks in advance.  Trying to get scans of "Skate Or Die 2" up next...

They do have a pretty bad moire effect on them - he needs to select de-screeen, or de-rasterize from his scanner software.

I seem to remember someone here being able to fix in photoshop - but it's better if the problem is eradicated at source.

example from my epson software:

First of all those scans are not 600DPI, or at least are not anymore.

I checked them scans on the site he posted them, and they are 200DPI.

So ask him to scan them 600DPI with de-rasteration (aka de-screen or moire removal) on.

Then ask him send them directly to you e-mail.

Or to Mediafire or Box.net account and then give us the link.

Oh and Skate or Die 2: PLEASE AND THANK YOU.

I tried level one surface blur in Paint.net and I think the result was amazing.
I think the image would be usable if it was higher DPI:

Mediafire won't let use direct linking to the image, so here is direct link:

Interesting.. So re-scan at a higher resolution?  Weird, that he thought it was 600dpi... Ok, well I can ask again...

EDIT: Ok, I talked to him, he says he's scanning them at 600dpi - even provided a screenshot:

Any further suggestions?  Does his scanner just suck?  Should he scan at a higher DPI?

Thanks in advance.

I think it's then that the images get screwed when adding to the site he uses, so:

Then ask him send them directly to you e-mail.

Or to Mediafire or Box.net account and then give us the link.
