any "stickiness" on the covers by any chance?

Anyhow, I don't know too much about PVC's affect on things like paper labels, but I do know that it can be pretty nasty for long term CD storage.

ShoothimNow:

Sunlight can also lead to bleached out colors.  These covers are stored and perfected here for a reason.  If we need another, its as simple as "click, download, print"

Way too much worrying there, sort of like the people who worry about playing burned games in their Dreamcast or Sega CD. Even if a certain brand of UGCs did discolor, it'd likely not be the entire batch. Just like the SNES discoloration problem, where mine is flawless but the one I got with my SNES Kiosk is dark yellow in spots.

The only issues I have with UGCs goes to my on negligence with using a soldering iron to melt tabs.  :P

the concerns have nothing to do with a certain batch or a certain brand, it has to do with the materials used to make the cases.

I know that much. But I also know it's not consistent either.
