I am trying to print a wii sports cover with photoshop but everytime it prints the right side is cut off at the R in sports. As far as I can tell I followed the directions in the guide and I have tried it with another printer and programs.

While normal letter size paper (8.5" x 11") is technically just about long enough to work as a DVD insert, most printers require a border around anything printed, which would cut off the image. If your printed doesn't do borderless prints, I'd suggest you go buy a bunch of legal size paper (8.5" x 14") and use that instead.

There are some more tips for printing at this section of the forums: http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?board=11.0

I personally find Paint the best way to print, but it's just me.

Im having the same trouble with the printing. The image always gets cut off from one side. I guess I should just try using the longer paper. Unless there is a way to set the printer to print without the blank border.

I haven't found one. Legal Paper is definitely the best and easiest option.
