Advice on the Sega CD & Saturn Manuals...

SonicAdvDX:

Hey guys. I did a search of the forum, and I (surprisingly enough) only found this problem discussed about twice, so I'm going to try and put this out into the open, because I just gotta know.

What are you guys doing with your SegaCD/Saturn manuals!?!? I will never understand what Sega was thinking in going with those LOOOOONG boxes for their NTSC games, even after PlayStation did it and quickly realized how dumb it was. Now, I have all of these empty, custom DVD cases with no manuals in them, and a pile of loose manuals lying around and getting damaged.  :'(

So, what have you guys done to combat this problem? Would my only choices be to try and find replacement Sega CD/Saturn cases or, just cutting up my manuals to fit them into a DVD box? *cringe*

Thanks all!

Ive been meaning to open up a thread requesting scans for Sega CD and Saturn Manuals for this reason. What Im going to do is reprint all the manuals to DVD size manuals. And the good thing is the majority of the manuals are in black and white which will save on a ton of ink. The manual covers could be printed in colour but you could even go with black and white on those too if you wanted to. I actually already made a template in .psd if anyone is interested.

I found manual scans for the majority of my Sega CD games on emuparadise but havent found any for the Saturn.

I store all my SCD manuals in a separate box. If you do this, you Gota make sure it stays dry.

Also, I have PDF manuals for almost all the SCD U.S. releases (found a torrent with them a few years back)

i love this idea... You should post the template, badchad

I would also love to have a template for Sega CD manuals!

Would we be able to have manuals hosted here, or does that fall into a gray area like with CD labels?
