Anyone know if Microsoft will touch a console to repair it if the little warranty seal is busted? (its past warranty date)

BOTH 360s in my home have crapped the bed within about a month.

My wife's stopped reading discs saying they were dirty a while ago... and just today my system decided to freeze and RRoD on me. (being 7 days past the extended warranty of course)

I yanked mine apart because i said "what the hell... nothing better to do..."

but I don't want to touch hers if my attempting to clean the optic eye will not work and result in not being able to be fixed by Microsoft.

as long as they aren't modified in any way i'm sure they will fix them for a price - you'd probably be better off finding someone local to do it though.

as long as I can get mine going I'll be happy for now.  I suppose I could call up Play N Trade and see what they would charge to fix the "dirty Disc" system.
